Overview

Modeling and simulating the transmission of sound through simply supported finite plate, immersed in a light fluid and analyzing the results all within the Excel environment. Strap uses a modal-based method for accurate prediction.
This module allows you to easily model your problem, such as defining :
- the frequency range
- the plate & fluid characteristics
- the excitation of the plate by the oblique incident sound pressure
- the response in terms of Sound Power radiated by the resulting plate vibration and the transmission loss
Reports are automatically generated showing and ploting results in your spreadsheet
